Lily Aldridge’s debut clothing line for Velvet has gotten a lift — from some Angel wings.

The model’s collection of slinky dresses, casual tanks and lacy numbers has been spotted on two street style stars (and her fellow Victoria’s Secret models) Miranda Kerr and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Ambrosio got her Coachella on a little early in a $150 tie-dye maxi from Aldridge’s line, accessorizing it with a low-slung belt and her cute toddler.

And Aldridge herself got a little Angel-dust boost from the first piece she wore at the line’s launch, a sexy animal print mini she named after her pal, Victoria’s Secret star Erin Heatherton.

Yes, Miranda Kerr is parting ways with Victoria’s Secret, but no, it wasn’t their idea to drop her, Kerr says.

In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Kerr says that her upcoming 30th birthday had her ready for a change of pace.

“The thing is, I’ve been modeling since I was 13,” Kerr tells the paper. “I’m now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time.”

And those new priorities include managing her Kora Organics beauty line and other upcoming projects. “I’ve reached a point in my career where I’m developing my own opportunities that are really reflective of my passions,” she says, adding that she is too busy to make major commitments — like Victoria’s Secret contracts. “I’m just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time. It’s three months at a bare minimum.”

As for rumors that she was tough to work with? She dismisses them. “I’m sure anyone that has worked with me would agree that it’s not true,” she says. And we tend to believe her: Anyone whose baby looks like this has got to be happy all the time!

We sincerely believe that Miranda Kerr just wakes up looking like that, but according to her, her effortless summer beauty takes a little bit of work.

First up in the how-to-look-like-Kerr regimen: skin and hair. She gets her glow from the sun, she tells PEOPLE: “I love a little bit of natural sunlight in moderation with a big hat! Being outside in nature is great for the mind and body.” And as for her go-to summer hairstyle? “A simple sleek ponytail works for me!”

Next step: beauty. She says she’s always got Covergirl mascara, Chanel “Rebelle” lip shine and Kora Organics energizing citrus mist from her own beauty line in her bag.

Finally, she focuses on her famous legs, which she credits to working out with a mix of “squats, leg presses and calf raises,” adding, “Then I use the Gillette Venus razor, which also gently exfoliates, so my legs are super smooth.”

She mentioned that casually at Wednesday’s Venus “Step Up and Step Out” event in N.Y.C., which donated $1 for every step taken by area women to the Step Up Women’s Network, a partnership which Kerr says “felt natural [because] … I’m all about encouraging women to be confident and embrace their individuality.”

It’s the first real day of summer, and what better way to kick things off than pictures of Miranda Kerr in a swimsuit?

Net-a-Porter.com apparently agrees with us, because they shot the sexy model in all sorts of bold swimwear for this week’s issue, all about bikinis, maillots and everything in between.

And though the photos say a lot, Kerr has plenty to add in her interview, on subjects ranging from being targeted by the Bling Ring and parting ways with Victoria’s Secret — plus the surprising way she keeps her marriage strong.

On having her lingerie lifted by the teen thieves now immortalized in a movie with Emma Watson: “The weird thing is that I am not attached to things: they come and they go,” she said. “It could have been worse, that’s what I always say about everything. I mean, no one was hurt.”

On the supposedly acrimonious split with Victoria’s Secret: “Ed [Razek, who has been casting the models for 15 years] and I are really good friends, and we both decided it was impractical for me to continue. I have such fond memories of working with them.”

And the supermodel even opens up about her marriage to actor Orlando Bloom, admitting that she likes to turn on her girlie charms when she’s off the clock. “I am quite dominant in my career, so what really works for me when I come home, is to relax more into the feminine side,” she says. “If you’re really an alpha female, you don’t allow [your partner] to have the space to feel like the man in the relationship. Maybe I am too traditional, but men feel important when you ask for their help, instead of thinking you can do it all on your own.”

It probably doesn’t hurt that she looks like that in a swimsuit, either.

Well, that moment has come. After seeing a smattering of stars out rocking their Cher Horowitz-approved dresses, we spotted three stars in a week giving the look a go. Karlie Kloss showed off her mile-long legs in a Reformation dress patterned with blue chrysanthemums (similar style here).

Miranda Kerr gave a glimpse of her abs and a big smile in her daisy-print Topshop dress. And Emma Watson paired a faux-wrap navy dress dotted with pink peonies with a pair of Ancient Greek sandals.

All three style stars know that the trick to making an old trend look fresh is to keep it from being too literal of an interpretation. So rather than pick a babydoll silhouette or chunky heels, they all opt for the print on modern-cut dresses that define their waist and add simple or contrasting shoes. It also helps that none of them are sporting “The Rachel.”

Man, don’t you just feel so bad for Miranda Kerr? OK, neither do we (have you seen the woman lately? Also, have you seen her husband lately?), but we imagine she might be feeling a touch disappointed right now. Because it appeared that Kerr was going to take home the honor of Most Loved Look of the Week, but just before the polls closed, Sandra Bullock pulled ahead and snatched the title right out of those supermodel hands.

And we’ve gotta say: We think Bullock deserved the win. She looked all kinds of gorgeous in her red Roland Mouret sheath, which featured an unexpected black back. She wore the dress with nothing but basic black heels and a casual down-do to Comic-Con in San Diego, where she was promoting her upcoming movie, Gravity.

It earned her nearly 26,000 votes and an approval rating of 91%, just a smidge higher than Kerr, whose floral mini and pink accessories got the thumbs up from 90% of you.
